Precision Machine Assembler
Eastside Machine Company, a progressive manufacturing company in Fargo, ND, is looking for a Precision Machine Assembler to join our team! In this position, you will assemble, set up, and adjust roll-forming machines for optimal performance in fabricating items such as siding, soffit, and gutters. Our machines form longitudinal bends, beads, rolls, and embossed designs into sheet metal strips by drawing them through one or more sets of roller dies.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, dial indicators, gauges, and micrometers
- Apply knowledge of shop mathematics to adjust and set machines properly
- Set up, change, and calibrate electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work in the ERP computer system regarding sign-offs, issuing components, and logging time on jobs
- Maintain a neat and tidy work area by cleaning up at the end of shift
Requirements:
- High school degree
- Machine maintenance and mechanic background is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Must be able to use and interpret prints and technical publications
- Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
- Teamwork, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills are crucial
