As we reflect on this past year, it is abundantly clear that the whole team here at ReechCraft has so much to be thankful for!
- We hosted our first ever Dealer Training event at our headquarters in Fargo, ND.
- We traveled throughout the US to several tradeshows, including our first ever INFOCOMM, where we won the award for “Best Demo”.

A Custom PowerMast for the North Pole
2019 has been a busy year at ReechCraft, but it’s been an even busier year at the North Pole! After centuries using his simple red and white wood homing beacon, Santa decided to upgrade to a new deluxe beacon featuring the latest in GPS technology to keep himself and his hard-working reindeer safe in today’s ever-more-crowded air space.
Problem
After months of research, Mr. Claus was able to design the perfect high-tech homing beacon. When it was time to assemble this new piece of equipment, he ran into multiple issues ranging from unstable snowy terrain, to difficulty transporting heavy equipment to his remote location, to lifts that just couldn’t meet the height needs of the project.
Solution
Santa knew he could rely on the team at ReechCraft to come up with a workable solution! The machine would have to be portable enough that Santa and his tiny crewmen would be able to assemble it on-site, it had to reach the necessary height and it had to be able to move across the snowy terrain.
We provided a custom PowerMast with an advanced outrigger system that could safely reach even the very top of the beacon. The custom base with adjustable ski-style outriggers allowed Santa’s reindeer to pull the partially-assembled machine into place. The quad mast could then be assembled to the needed height.
Benefits
“This custom PowerMast Quad was invaluable for building my new North Pole homing beacon! I don’t know how we could have gotten it done without ReechCraft!” remarked Mr. Claus. In addition to using this new Quad for building and maintaining the homing beacon, Santa said it proved helpful for decorating his busy village in preparation for this Christmas.
