Dealer Spotlight: Why Want A Lift Turns to ReechCraft When Access Gets Tough
At ReechCraft, our dealers are at the heart of every jobsite success story. For Want A Lift, a Minnesota-based rental company, that success comes from doing things differently—prioritizing flexibility, responsiveness, and creative problem-solving for their customers.
Founded in 2015 and expanding significantly in 2018, Want A Lift has built its reputation as a smaller, service-focused company that goes the extra mile to meet customer needs. Rather than relying on a large sales team, their hands-on approach allows them to stay closely connected to every job—and every challenge.

A New Tool for Tough Jobs
Want A Lift began working with ReechCraft after encountering jobsite limitations that traditional lifts simply couldn’t solve.
“We had some situations that we needed to get lifts into that we didn’t have anything else that worked,” shared Samantha Langenbach, Office Manager at Want A Lift.
After researching alternatives, their team found ReechCraft—and quickly realized the potential. Today, Want A Lift has added the PowerMast and PowerLift to their rental fleet, giving them a versatile solution for confined and hard-to-reach spaces.
Real-World Application: ElseWarehouse Project
One standout Want A Lift jobsite that demonstrates the power of ReechCraft equipment was a project at the historic ElseWarehouse Apartments in Minneapolis, MN.
The challenge? Replace lighting fixtures 43 feet high within an active apartment complex featuring a tight interior courtyard—an environment where traditional lifts or scaffolding weren’t feasible due to space and weight restrictions.
“There was no way to get a traditional lift in there,” Langenbach explained.

Using the Freestanding PowerMast, the Want A Lift team was able to transport the system through a parking ramp and elevator, assemble it on site, and complete the work efficiently. The entire process—including unloading, transporting, and building the unit to full working height—was completed in about an hour on their first attempt.
Even teardown and removal were completed quickly in a similar timeframe, highlighting the system’s efficiency in environments where time and access are critical.
Performance That Builds Confidence
While modular systems can require an initial learning curve, Want A Lift found the benefits far outweighed the time it took to initially learn the new equipment—especially in situations where alternatives don’t exist. “There was literally nothing else to use,” said Nate Taylor, Service & Sale Representative at Want A Lift.
Once assembled, the team noted the lift’s stability as a major advantage. “It seemed very solid… it feels a lot more stable than your traditional mast lift, like a Genie,” he added.
This level of confidence on the jobsite allows crews to focus on the task at hand rather than worrying about equipment limitations.

A Better Alternative to Scaffolding
For Want A Lift, one of the biggest advantages of ReechCraft products is how they stack up against traditional scaffolding. “We don’t want to work in scaffolding, and that’s kind of why this lift is a great option for us,” said Taylor.
By adding ReechCraft equipment to their fleet, Want A Lift can now compete in situations where scaffolding rentals were previously the only option. The result? More flexibility for their customers and a better experience overall.
The modular design allows them to access areas that were previously unreachable, including tight indoor spaces, unique architectural environments, and even unconventional setups like pools or confined interiors. “This gives us the ability to get into those situations, so our customers don’t need to go out and rent scaffolding,” he explained.
Strong Dealer Support
Want A Lift’s experience working with the ReechCraft team has also played a role in their success.
They’ve worked closely with both customer service and the engineering team, noting the responsiveness and product knowledge that supports their growth.

“They’re always great at responding and letting me know that if they don’t have exactly what I need, they’ll look into it,” Langenbach shared. Recalling a previous conversation, Taylor commended the passion that a ReechCraft engineer displayed for the product: “He was super excited about what he does; that’s always great to see.”
This collaboration ensures dealers like Want A Lift can confidently represent ReechCraft products and support their customers in the field.
Looking Ahead
Though Want A Lift has only had their ReechCraft equipment for a few months, they have already experienced and seen significant potential. As Want A Lift continues to grow, their focus remains the same: solving customer challenges with the right equipment and a service-first mindset.
With ReechCraft tools now part of their offering, Want A Lift is equipped to take on jobs that once seemed impossible—bringing new opportunities for both their business and their customers.
