From TwistLok™ to Tripod Balance: The Innovation Behind ReechCraft’s Three-Legged Scaffold

If you are looking for a versatile, stable, and easy-to-use work platform, the ReechCraft Bronco three-legged scaffold is a game-changer. Designed for professionals and DIYers who need reliable access solutions on uneven terrain, the Bronco combines smart engineering with rugged durability.

A person carries a folded multi-purpose ladder across a grassy area near a red-brick building, while the same ladder is shown set up as a scaffold on decorative rocks beside a beige-sided building—demonstrating its portability and versatility for different work environments.

Why Choose the Bronco Three-Legged Scaffold?

The Bronco is designed to adapt to environments where traditional scaffolding struggles—stairs, inclines, ledges, rough ground conditions, and more. Its extra-wide tripod frame can spread up to 42 inches, offering superior stability even in tight spaces.

No matter the job you’re tackling, the Bronco is the trusted choice for multiple reasons:

  • Versatility: Perfect for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Durability: Built from rugged materials to withstand tough conditions.
  • Ease of Use: Lightweight, portable, and quick to set up.

In this blog, we will dive deeper into some of the innovative features of the ReechCraft Bronco.

Heavy-Duty Steel Spreader for Maximum Rigidity

The Bronco’s steel spreader bar forms a rigid triangular structure that locks the legs securely in place. This isn’t just about stabilityit’s innovation. When folded, the spreader doubles as a convenient carrying handle, making transport effortless.

Independent Leg Adjustment with TwistLok

With three telescoping legs, the Bronco eliminates the unsteady wobble that comes with a typical four-legged ladder. It’s a mathematical principle that three points create a plane, or flat surface—this is not always the case with four points. No matter the ground conditions, the Bronco will never wobble

At the heart of the Bronco’s adaptability is its telescoping leg system featuring TwistLok technology. Each leg adjusts independently in 1.5-inch increments, allowing you to create a level platform on virtually any surface. The process is tools-free and intuitive:

  1. Push the steel locking pin
  2. Twist and pull the leg to your desired height
  3. Lock it into position

This means faster setup, less hassle, and more time focused on the job.

Platform Flexibility

Pair two Broncos and you can create a platform height ranging from 3 to 5 feet, giving you a working height of up to 11 feet. The design accommodates platforms up to 2 feet wide, making it ideal for painting, siding, and other tasks that require a broad, stable surface.
